1Personal Information Protection Policy

With regard to the personal information the Company obtains, the Company complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Personal Information Protection Act), guidelines and other directives concerning the protection of personal information, and all other applicable laws and regulations relating to the protection of personal information.

2Security Management of Personal Information

The Company implements appropriate organizational, physical, human, and technical measures for the protection of personal information, and takes necessary and appropriate steps to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information it handles, and otherwise to ensure the safe management thereof.

3Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

3-1  Collection of Personal Information

The Company is a globally operating enterprise whose business processes and technical systems span multiple countries. Accordingly, in connection with the purposes of use described in Section 3-2 below, the Company may share information about customers within its group of companies or transfer such information to countries in which it operates, including Taiwan and other parts of Asia, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Where a customer's personal data is transferred to a country not deemed to provide an adequate level of protection, the Company ensures the protection of that data by including standard contractual clauses in agreements between group companies.

The Company may collect personal information from general users (hereinafter "Users") or advertisers (hereinafter "Advertisers") to the extent necessary for operating the websites operated by the Company and its group companies (hereinafter "the Site").

3-2  Purposes of Use of Personal Information

Except as required by law or when consent has been obtained from the individual, the Company shall not use personal information it has obtained beyond the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes of use.

1. Providing services and support by the Company and its group companies
2. Operating, maintaining, and managing the Site and group company websites
3. Providing and introducing services through the Site
4. Conducting surveys to improve service quality
5. Processing and fulfilling customer requests, orders, downloads, and other transactions

3-3  Provision of Personal Information

Except as required by law, the Company shall not provide personal information obtained based on the consent of the individual to any third party without the prior consent of that individual. Requests for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or notification of the purpose of use of personal information by the individual will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

4Changes to the Purposes of Use of Personal Information

As a general rule, the Company shall not change the purposes of use identified in the preceding section without the prior consent of the individual. However, this does not apply where the change is made after the revised purpose of use has been publicly announced and the revised purpose is reasonably deemed to have a substantial relationship to the original purpose of use.

5Third-Party Provision of Personal Information

Where the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party, it will thoroughly assess the suitability of that party and exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the entrusted party.

7Transmission of Information to External Services

The Site may transmit customer information to external services for the following purposes.

• Transmission of form input data to our servers upon form submission (for handling inquiries and document download requests)

These transmissions occur automatically or through user action when using the Site.

The Company will regularly review its personal information handling practices, management systems, and initiatives, and will continuously improve and revise them.

9Disposal of Personal Information

When the need for personal information has ceased in light of its purpose of use, the Company will erase or dispose of the information. Erasure and disposal will be carried out using methods necessary and appropriate to prevent risks such as external leakage.
